Join those in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. as we take action for Healthy Schools in our region.
Following our Healthy School Summit on October 21st, 2007, wherein almost 100 green building design, school management, nursing, education and advocates came together to learn and share about healthy school environments, this network is continuing to collaborate via conference call, in person, and through collective activities.
The network is beginning deeper conversations around: taking action to improve the indoor air quality of existing school buildings, engaging with education and health professionals about how school environments affect student health, and training staff and facilities managers and administration on environmental health impacts of schools.
[Join us in this exciting new effort]
