The Child Proofing our Community (CPOC) campaign believes that fundamental change begins at home, in the community, in the schools, in houses of worship. Locally driven initiatives reflect the needs and values of taxpayers, parents, and the community as a whole.
CPOC members are expert at taking local action; from passing county policies to using least toxic pest management on public parkland, to forming a Green Flag Team at the local high school. As a part of the CPOC campaign, these leaders share their victories, their stories, their ideas, and what they have learned, and in doing so are creating fundamental shifts in how communities care for health and the environment.
